Capricorn New Moon – Sunday January 18, 2026
Here we are with a New Moon in Capricorn, at 28 degrees, with both the Sun and Moon moving into Aquarius tomorrow night! We’ve spent this first month of 2026 having Capricorn help us clarify for all of us on this planet at the moment the goddess Astraea, Mercury and Mars, all move into Aquarius. Our foundation is here in Capricorn, honoring where we are clearest about the direction the planet is going in. We are quite ready, through this New Moon we may be considering a change of mind, a clearing of our heart’s desire, and a deeper understanding of the actions needed to fulfill our true heart’s desire! We are all needing the anchoring of the Mountain Goat as the symbol of Capricorn’s focus, translated by us as how we see our abilities to understand our own sense of self-reliance, self-respect and self-mastery. Know that we are also using this New Moon as our own way of stepping into this expanding year as a real opportunity to see what is right and real, and how we all are contributing to leave behind old, unreliable ways, and be ready to step into a truly magnificent future. We will be accessing so many new experiences as quickly as in February, we have a New Moon/Solar Eclipse on the 17th of February, and a Virgo Lunar Eclipse on the 3rd of March. We will be having such a change in energies, and who we are, and how we all function will be quite the revelation!
